We are currently looking for an Architectural Sales Representative. This position can be based out of anywhere but also goes to the Neville Island Showroom. The Architectural Sales Representative will be responsible for engaging in business development through Architectural and Engineering Representation. This position requires excellent customer service skills and offers on-site product expertise and insights. This individual will actively seek new business through Architectural contacts, as well as, identify leads and potential prospects based on vital input through interactions with clients.
Responsibilities:
  • Specifies / promotes / secures orders from existing and prospective Architects and Engineers through a relationship-based approach
  • Active involvement in related industry associations
  • Effective Architectural box lunch presentations
  • Demonstrate products and services to existing / potential customers and assist them in selecting product best suited to their needs
  • Collaborate with various departments within the company to insure customer inquiries are handled in a timely manner
  • Develop clear and effective proposals / quotes for customers based on their ongoing projects and selected material
  • Complete necessary administrative work that aligns with business operation
  • Communicate with management on prospective projects, customer needs, problems, competitor activities, advertising and promotional requirements, and product trends
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Knowledge of Architectural and Engineering Community
  • Customer Service Orientation
  • Excellent Time Management – Self-Starter / Self-Managed
  • Negotiation abilities
  • Construction Background
  • Design Background – Masonry Preferred
Education/Experience:
  • Associate’s in Architecture or Engineering, Construction or a related field preferred
  • Demonstrated sales, customer service or related experience preferred
  • Familiarity with masonry or construction industries preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
